AJ Allmendinger dumps Chase Briscoe in NASCAR practice (Video)

AJ Allmendinger retaliated on Chase Briscoe during practice for the LA Coliseum

Today, the NASCAR Cup Series touched the track for the first time in 2023. Drivers unloaded at the LA Coliseum for practice ahead of the Busch Light Clash.

Teams were split into three practice groups. That’s an attempt to space out the cars and give them room to turn practice laps.

However, they ran out of room.

In session three, Chase Briscoe leaned on the rear bumper of Allmendinger. In the next corner, Briscoe dove to his inside and made door-to-door contact.

Allmendinger tucked in behind Briscoe as they exited the corner. He lined him up.

When they got to the corner, Allmendinger retaliated. He drove right into the rear bumper of Briscoe and pushed him into the corner. With no chance of making the corner, Briscoe locked up the brakes and slid into the wall.

“I’m pretty sure AJ got his point across right there,” No. 14 co-owner Tony Stewart stated.

Briscoe collected light right front damage. He was unable to return to the track to complete the session.

Teams will return to the track shortly for qualifying. The Busch Light Clash takes place tomorrow.
