Sunny skies, light winds, and temperatures in the low 30s greeted bicyclists in downtown Perry Saturday morning at the start of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce’s 46th annual Bike Ride to Rippey, better known as the BRR Ride.
Breakfast was served by the Hotel Pattee, and the St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus held their annual raffle of a new bicycle. Numerous events are being held in Perry, Rippey and along the route both there and back again.
The Chamber of Commerce predicted thousands of riders would participate in the annual event, the Chamber’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
