NHL All-Star 2023: Day One

Day one of NHL All-Star Weekend is off to a hot start in Sunrise, Florida. Erik Karlsson is back for his seventh All-Star appearance, but this time it's a little different. Karlsson brought his wife and kiddos along to enjoy the weekend (stay tuned for pictures). Oh, and the red carpet was casual dress!

It's not All-Star Weekend without a red carpet, right?
But first, a message from EK65.

After a message to fans, Karlsson got back to walking the red carpet in style.

The first big event of the weekend was the NHL All-Star Skills Competition. While Karlsson didn't compete, he was still on the ice helping out during the Accuracy Shooting event. Karlsson said, "This is my seventh All-Star, I wanted to give the younger guys an opportunity."

Karlsson's daughter, Harlow, was the star of the show and has been LOVING her first All-Star Weekend!
Of course, Harlow had to get a selfie with Dad.

Fun fact: The person Harlow was most excited to see this weekend was S.J. Sharkie.
We think it's safe to say they're besties now.
