Drew McIntyre sees the funny side of he and Sheamus’ tag team name.
It was announced earlier last month that the team of Sheamus and Drew McIntyre are now called “The Banger Bros.” The name caught a lot of attention and fans had mixed reactions to it on social media due to the title resonating with the popular adult film company, “Bang Bros.”
Sheamus and Drew McIntyre have acknowledged the similarity of their names through jokes on social media. Of course, even fans are having a lot of fun with the similarity as well.
While speaking to Scott Fishman from Sports Illustrated, Drew McIntyre was asked about the Banger Bros name for his tag team with Sheamus. McIntyre made it clear he is having fun with the name.
“We call ourselves The Banger Bros, and we have fun with it because Sheamus says banger after banger and we’re bros.”

Sheamus and McIntyre are also likely to have a huge match at WrestleMania 39, so we’ll have to see how that will turn out.
