FORT LAUDERDALE - The NHL All-Stars arrived in South Florida on Thursday to a perfect 80 degree and sunny day.
Anaheim Ducks forward Troy Terry (2x All-Star), Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak (3x All-Star), Boston Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark (1st appearance), Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov (1st appearance), Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov (2x All-Star), and Nashville Predators goalie Juuse Saros (2x All-Star) spoke on their thoughts and first impressions of NHL All-Star Week, what they are looking forward throughout the event, and what to watch for this weekend.

First Impressions
Terry: "Florida in general, we live in California, which is similar, but coming to a different climate to an extent, it feels like a vacation. It's beautiful here."
Ullmark: "It's a lot hotter than the previous times we've been here this season. I was a little shocked when I looked at the thermometer this morning. It's nice. It's pretty cold back home in Boston, so it's a nice change."
Pastrnak: "It's been great here so far. Obviously, the weather is beautiful, and I've just been enjoying myself lately."
Kaprizov: "I've spent some time here before and like it a lot down here. I'm friends with Sergei Bobrovsky who plays down here, and this area has a lot of Russians and friends, so everything has been great so far. Perfect spot for hockey."
Saros: "It's obviously pretty cool down here and the weather is great. Not a bad place to have the All-Star Game and it's great to be here."

Looking Forward
Terry: "This weekend, obviously the game some are looking forward to, and I got to get to know some of them last year, but just getting to know some of these other guys. It'll be nice to make personal relationships with guys I compete against every night. It's probably that part I'm looking forward to the most."
Pastrnak: "I'm really excited for the game. You're playing against the biggest names around the league and get to play with the people you're battling against every single night. The skills are also fun and always bring something special."
Ullmark: It's fun to be here with the other goaltenders**.
