Simeon Views and Aden Dinero Hit with ‘Terrified’
The new single Terrified from Simeon Views and Aden Dinero which dropped today, opens with a bar that directly hits on a glaring reality in street culture today. I’d give you the line but that would be a spoiler and this is a song you actually need to hear…and so I’m on zip. Dinero has an exploding single with an accompanying video out now featuring A Boogie Wit da Hoodie called “One night“, and brings his groove to this collaboration, complementing Simeon well on this piece of work. Terrified is blessed by a slightly nuanced but businesslike music bed. There’s a skillful use of timing and space in the track that showcases the key elements of the music, and also delivers the vocals in full voice…post-production was top-notch. This one is a 4/5 for me.
About Simeon Views
A native of Springfield Massachusetts, Simeon Views recalls what it’s like to live in a forgotten city and it’s stated that “Springfield streets carry all the grime with none of the glory.” At 16, he and his Eleven Views collective vowed to go from forgotten to fortune.
Diving into battle rapping, freestyling, and recording in basements, Simeon and his crew became known as princes of their city. It’s also observed that very few artists display the versatility and presence of this young king.
Simeon’s independent debut album “Her Favorite Artist”, in 2019, gave him coastal coverage, infecting the streets from Massachusetts to Atlanta. The ladies fell in love as he executed lyricism and cadences on par with household names like Drake and Kendrick Lamar. “Can’t Tell a $oul” from the project, has racked up more than 2.7 million streams on Spotify alone.
Where does his inspiration come from?
For Simeon, music is in the blood, he is a close cousin to late Hip Hop pioneer Eazy-E, and on the other, he is a first-generation immigrant from the slums of Jamaica and carries that island persona. That’s all part of a powerful backstory and we can see from Terrified, that this young lion has a lot to offer and we’ll be talking about him for some time to come.
