Diversity, inclusion course now required for SUNY students

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The State University of New York is requiring all students to take a diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice themed class before they can earn their diploma.

There is no guidance from SUNY on when the new mandate goes into effect. It did sent a letter to faculty on the new diversity requirements but many lawmakers are asking for more clarity on the rule.
