Steve-O begs Bam Margera to get sober while bracing for news of his death

Steve-O begged friend Bam Margera to “choose recovery” amid his years-long battle with drug and alcohol addiction.

After Margera went on a social media rant while allegedly under the influence, Steve-O warned his “Jackass” co-star that he is walking a fine line.

“Bam, last night you had your five year old son with you on stage at my show, and you were blessed with the chance to spend another day or two with him — then as soon as you left my show, you stayed up all night getting loaded enough to think it was a good idea to post more vile nonsense like this,” Steve-O — who has been sober for nearly 15 years — claimed in a now-deleted comment, referring to Margera’s son, Phoenix.

He continued, “You say you want to have a relationship with your son, but your actions guarantee the exact opposite will happen. I brought you on tour with me in hopes that I could get you to see what’s possible for you if you choose recovery.”

While the “Wild Ride” host said he has tried “everything” to help his friend, he knows no one can “force” Margera, 43, “to get honest and do the work of recovery.”

“I wish you could know how much I’ve hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you’re making it clear that I have no other choice,” he concluded, adding, “You’re dying, brother, and it sucks that I can’t do anything to save you.”

Page Six has reached out to Margera and Steve-O for comment but didn’t receive any at the time of publication.

The emotional message comes after Margera called out “thief” Johnny Knoxville and “greedy” Jeff Tremaine in a strange post on social media.

The former friends had a falling out after Knoxville and Tremaine fired Margera from the 2022 movie “Jackass Forever” for failing to stay sober.

In fact, Margera even filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the “Jackass” team — which was later dismissed and settled outside of court.

The TV personality has battled drug and alcohol issues for years. He was sent to rehab in 2018 after being arrested for a DUI — and has been in and out ever since.

Back in September, Margera was sent to court-ordered rehab but went missing from the facility. He was found partying shortly after.

He was then put into an outpatient program only to be spotted at a bar in Florida just days after getting out.
