Fuquay-Varina safety Malcolm Ziglar adds offer from South Carolina

According to his Twitter account, Ziglar received an offer from South Carolina, adding yet another Power 5 school to the list of colleges who hope to land a commitment from him.

Fuquay-Varina safety Malcolm Ziglar added an SEC offer on Friday.

According to his Twitter account, Ziglar received an offer from South Carolina, adding yet another Power 5 school to the list of colleges who hope to land a commitment from him.

Ziglar stands at 6-foot-2 and 198 pounds. According to On3.com, he is a four-star prospect.

In his junior campaign, Ziglar was credited with six interceptions, three interception returns for touchdowns, and six pass breakups. He scored nine total touchdowns.

Ziglar's performance as a junior earned him a spot on the HighSchoolOT All-State Team.

Fuquay-Varina finished the season with a 6-5 overall record. The Bengals fell to Pine Forest by one point in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A playoffs.

Ziglar also reports offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, Duke, East Carolina, James Madison, Kent State, Liberty, Maryland, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
