Trial continues for Tyler man accused in fatal driving death

Chad Michael Crowell, 38, is accused of giving directives from a position of leadership to members of an “outlaw motorcycle gang” called the Ugly Man Cossacks. According to his arrest affidavit, Crowell is believed to have ordered the murder of Brandon Edwards, of Arp, a member of the rival club 1%er Cossacks, on May 2, 2020.

“I’m proud to be from Texas and honored to be joining some wonderful performers at the Texas County Music Hall of Fame,” Louise Mandrell said in a recorded statement. The event will be in Carthage Aug. 10.

Debbie McCaslin is saying goodbye to the place she began her first job, and her last. She began working at the UT Health hospital in Jacksonville, formerly known as the Nan Travis Memorial hospital, at the age of 19 as a nurse’s aide.

Marines are known for their toughness and never-give-up attitude, but a group of East Texas marine corps veterans have softened that image through volunteering.
