Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has revealed her new co-star Bruno Tonioli is already making an impact at the auditions.

Former Strictly Come Dancing star, Tonioli, was officially confirmed as the new addition to the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel last month.

He took over the role on the ITV entertainment show after comedian David Walliams stepped down.

Despite being the newcomer to the show, Tonioli is seemingly already shaking things up.

Chatting about her new co-star, Holden detailed how Tonioli has settled into the Britain’s Got Talent team and teased ahead to the judging panel drama fans can expect to see.

She confessed Tonioli has already caused trouble by not sticking to the rules of the show.

"He’s a wonderful ball of energy and in a good way he’s already broken every rule," Holden told The Sun. "So much so that Simon [Cowell] will probably have to throw out any rulebook this year."

While the audition stage of the ITV talent show has only recently started filming, Holden is already confident the series will be popular with viewers.

"It’s going to be a brilliant series," she remarked. "We’ve only filmed auditions in London so far but we can't wait to get to Manchester for the first time since the pandemic hit."

The recent changes to the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel come after Walliams left the show after being recorded making explicit comments about contestants during filming for the 2020 series.

After the audio was made public, Walliams released a statement where he apologised for the "disrespectful comments".

Addressing Walliams' exit from the show, Alesha Dixon took to Instagram to pay tribute to her former co-star.

"Thank you [David] for an amazing 10 years on BGT," she wrote on her Instagram Stories. "I love you very much and will miss you dearly."

Britain's Got Talent airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
