News on ROH Television Tapings

Nearly a year after the announcement of AEW owner Tony Khan’s acquisition of Ring of Honor, and a few weeks after Khan’s announcement that TV would come in the new year, streaming on Honor Club, we now have some dates starting to firm up.

According to Fightful Select, Fightful’s Will Washington was told recently that Ring of Honor will begin television tapings in Orlando, Florida, during the last weekend of February–which would be Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th.

While a location is not confirmed, Fightful reports that talent is operating under the assumption that the tapings will take place at Universal Studios, where the company has periodically been taping episodes of AEW Dark periodically since September of 2021.

With ROH’s Supercard of Honor pay-per-view event set for March 31, there is a presumption that these tapings would serve as the lead-in to the event.

Fightful also points out that there are several AEW-contracted talent who have been under contract for close to a year who were presumably signed to be used on ROH television.
