On January 27, 2023 Units responded to the area of West Ave. for a female  being chased by her boyfriend Mr. Cody Campbell in a white Ford Fusion. The caller stated that the male brandished a firearm and had busted windows out of her car. Officers were then made aware that the female refused to go to the Sheriff’s Office and was traveling out-bond on 70 West.

Contact was made with both parties and the female stated that there was no firearm as reported in the call.  The female was not harmed in any way but did state that Mr. Campbell did bust her passenger side window with his fist to get to a male that was in the passenger side of her vehicle. Mr. Campbell did admit to breaking the window. Mr. Campbell was transported to CMC for medical treatment. He was then served with the vandalism warrant.
