Yamhill County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for a man accused of attacking his brother with a machete on Friday morning.
Deputies responded to the incident around 3 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Fifth Street in Amity.
The victim was taken to a hospital and then airlifted to a regional trauma center, officials say.
Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Peter Darius Huber. He left the scene in a white 2007 Toyota Highlander with Oregon plate 148-NUE.
A temporary felony warrant is issued for Huber's arrest.
According to officials, Huber could be suicidal and it is unknown if he is armed at this time, but should be considered a serious threat to others.
