Pittsburgh Regional Transit temporarily discontinues service in Millvale

MILLVALE, Pa. — Pittsburgh Regional Transit has temporarily discontinued service in Millvale, effective immediately, after inspectors reduced the weight limit on the Grant Avenue bridge.

PRT is no longer able to serve the Millvale area because Lincoln Avenue, the only detour, is currently closed.

The company said the Mount Royal bus route will be detoured via Evergreen Road.

Seven inbound and eight outbound bus stops will be discontinued with this change. The company said three inbound and three outbound bus stops will be established as a replacement.
