Paul George Reveals He's on a Minutes Restriction

Paul George isn't injured, but he does have a minutes restriction.

Paul George has returned to the LA Clippers, but he hasn't quite fully returned yet. After Thursday night's colossal blunder against the Milwaukee Bucks, Paul George revealed he's still under a minutes restriction.

George played 36 minutes in the game, playing three minutes less than Kawhi Leonard.

George still isn't cleared to play back-to-backs, as both he and Kawhi Leonard sat out against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Clippers had been playing fantastic basketball recently, winning 6 of the last 7 games before losing against the Milwaukee Bucks. Unfortunately, the manner in which the Clippers lost to the Bucks was absolutely atrocious. It was a repeat pattern that's occurred during the 2021 NBA season, the 2022 NBA season, and now the 2023 NBA season. Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have a tendency to close games in the clutch by taking contested jumpers, instead of attacking the rim or moving the ball for a wide-open shot. The end result is an epic scoring drought that results in an epic collapse.

It would have been great for the Clippers to win against the Bucks, but the only thing they can do now is to learn from their mistakes and bounce back against the New York Knicks. Every win and loss in the Western Conference has tremendous implications on the standings and the Clippers can use every win they can get with how hard their schedule is. What happened against the Milwaukee Bucks can not happen again.
