Jordan Davis paid tribute to the most meaningful things in life as he debuted “Money Isn’t Real,” the latest track to release as he gets ready to share his upcoming album, Bluebird Days. Davis’ storytelling in the sentimental song sees the singer arriving at a memorial service for a millionaire whose life revolved around money. Davis thinks, after looking at the empty chairs, that “I ain’t got it that bad,” especially with his family, friends and more.

“'Cause money isn't real/ It can't call you like your mama does/ It can't make you old friends/ It can't make you young again/ It can't buy you real love/ It's just paper and some ink/ It'll never ask you how you feel/ A dollar doesn't make you rich when it comes to happiness/ Money isn't real/ Money isn't real”

“Money Isn’t Real” comes as Davis readies his next album, Bluebird Days, which is due on February 17. The reigning CMA Song of the Year winner — for his smash-hit collaboration with Luke Bryan, “Buy Dirt” — spoke about his second full-length album during an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show in November.

Davis previously explained of the meaning behind the name of his soon-to-release sophomore album: “A ‘Bluebird Day’ is, not a cloud in the sky, sun shining, north wind, hot coffee, ducks are flying, which I’ve kind of rolled into this kind of moment in my life which feels like that.”

Davis is part of the all-star iHeartCountry Festival lineup on May 13, at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Fans across the country will able to tune in to all of the incredible live performances at this year's iHeartCountry Festival as the event will be broadcast on iHeartRadio country stations nationwide, and on iHeartRadio.com as well as the iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 13th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
