Monster Trucks = Family Fun

Monster trucks equal family fun. How do I know? I've taken my son a couple of times to Monster Jam and he and I both loved it. There's nothing like the raw power of these giant trucks getting airborne at Van Andel Arena.

Back in my day as a kid, I remember going to the Pontiac Silverdome to see the legendary Big Foot. I was so excited to see Big Foot and just couldn't believe how big the truck was and how it crushed everything in its path. It was fun as a kid and still fun as an adult.

Nowadays, the fan favorite is Grave Digger which I have seen a few times at Van Andel Arena and this Monster Truck will be back this March along with several new favorites for fans.

If you have never been to a Monster Jam event, watch the video above that was filmed in Grand Rapids last year and you will get a good idea of what it's about. I will say it is much more intense in person when you hear those engines rev plus the drivers nowadays do some pretty intense moves with these trucks. It is unbelievable how mobile these beasts are.
