Report: Buccaneers' Running Back Leonard Fournette Changes Agent

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' running back, Leonard Fournette, switched his agent representation.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' running back, Leonard Fournette, has new representation when it comes to his agent.

Fournette was formerly represented by Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports, but has since changed his course and will now be represented by GSE Worldwide's David Canter and Ness Mugrabi.

The change in agents comes about a year after 'Playoff Lenny' signed a three-year contract extension with the Buccaneers last season; he has two years remaining on that contract.

Fournette just completed his third season with the Bucs' franchise, but after coming off a down year when it comes to his rushing stats things could change for him this off-season. The Buccaneers are in salary cap hell as they have the second-worst cap space (-$55,714,949) among 32 teams.

If the plan for the Bucs is to remain a contender to win the NFC South and make the playoffs there will have to be moves made that ultimately mean players that have been around through this Tom Brady era will be on the outs and either will leave during their free agency or be released by the team in order to get back on the plus side of the cap.

This means, players, like Fournette, will continuously hear their names mentioned as potential guys that could be released by the team.
