ST. GABRIEL, La. (BRPROUD) – The St. Gabriel Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Jontae Davon Miley of Baton Rouge. Miley is a suspect in a recent shooting incident on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
The shooting incident took place around lunchtime in the 1900 block of Besson Lane. When officers arrived at the scene there was no one there that required help.
A search of the area led officers to find spent shell casings that they believe came from “at least two weapons.” Further investigation led the SGPD to Miley as a suspect in this case.
The investigation into this incident remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the St. Gabriel Police Department at 225-642-5222.
