According to Semmes Police, on January 17, 2023, Semmes Police stopped a vehicle on Moffett Road just west of Schillinger Road for a traffic violation.

The officers noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers then discovered a large amount of marijuana, methamphetamines, assorted paraphernalia, a pistol, and a large amount of money in the vehicle.

The 33-year-old occupant, Kayla Renee Lott-Minix of Arkansas, was charged with Trafficking methamphetamines, Possession of Marijuana First Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The street value of the marijuana was $1,272, methamphetamines was $10,470, and $45,231 in cash.
