Girl Scouts prepare in-person cookie sales in Colorado

The Thin Mint has a new "sister cookie" that joins the Girl Scouts' cookie lineup this year.

DENVER — It's the most wonderful time of year.

Girl Scout Cookie season officially begins in Colorado on Sunday, Feb. 5, with the launch of in-person cookie sales.

Girl Scouts will be at stores across Colorado through Sunday, March 12, selling a variety of tasty cookies.

Cookie lovers can enter their zip code online to find the nearest store where scouts will be selling cookies.

The Girl Scouts previously announced that a new cookie will join the nationwide lineup for the 2023 cookie season.

The new Raspberry Rally cookie is a thin, crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor. The cookie is a "sister" to the iconic Thin Mint cookie, with raspberry filling instead of mint and dipped in the same chocolate coating.

Girl Scouts across the United States will offer the Raspberry Rally cookie this season, alongside returning icons Thin Mints and Samoas, last year's Adventurefuls cookie and more.

Nearly 3.5 million packages of cookies will be distributed across Colorado this cookie season. The Girl Scouts said Thin Mints are the most popular cookie in Colorado.
