Popular Bricktown Country Bar Reopens

In December of 2022, the popular country bar Cowboy Ranch closed abruptly, with former owner Jeff Rogers dying shortly after the bar closed doors.

Despite this, former general manager Eddie Wade chose to reopen the bar, giving it a new name: Oklahoma Ranch.

Wade said the bar will keep the country aesthetic, albeit with a bigger dance floor, additional seating and more live performances from local artists.

When Cowboy Ranch closed down, staff were laid off and Wade said one of the best things was being able to call them back and keep the same team around.

“Good bartenders are hard to come by and most people do not want to let go of them," Wade said. "So for me to get all of them back, that was a great feeling."
