Two women are wanted after allegedly stealing a wallet and spending the victim's money throughout Williamsport.
According to State Police, on November 19th, a victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was eating at a Red Lobster restaurant in Williamsport.
The victim told police that she laid her purse near the outside of the booth and later found it misplaced closer to the booth behind her. After checking her purse, she realized her wallet was stolen - it included two debit cards, a credit bard, a rapid pay card, her license, and $10.
The victim's cards were used throughout Williamsport and the surrounding areas.
A waitress at the restaurant provided State Police with a description of two black women who sat in the booth behind the victim. They are both believed to be between 20-30 years old.
The first suspect is said to have been wearing a white N95 style mask, black long sleeve shirt, light blue jeans, a necklace, white and black Nike shoes, and carrying a dark red purse at the time of the theft.
Police say the second suspect was wearing a blue surgical mask, black jacket, blue jeans, black slip-on style shoes, and carrying a silver purse. The female also had tattoos on her left hand.
Further investigation showed two women of interest on a Wegman's security camera, later at a CVS in South Williamsport, and then at a Dollar General. They are believed to have driven away in a Subaru Crosstrek.
State Police are still investigating.
