Steph De Lander Set To Debut On IMPACT; Gisele Shaw Embraces New Moniker

On the February 2 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Gisele Shaw was tasked with taking on “The Cannibal” Savannah Evans. The two recently teamed up in a six-woman tag match and beat The Death Dollz, however Shaw came up short in her title match the week before with Tara. Evans dominated at first, but a referee distraction involving Jai Vidal allowed Shaw to knee strike Evans for the win. Post-match, Shaw took credit for driving out Tasha Steelz, The Influence, and Chelsea Green, and is now calling herself the “Black Widow.”

Killer Kelly cut a promo backstage about having unfinished business with Taylor Wilde before Wilde interrupted and reminded her that the tarot card said they would be standing side-by-side, not across the ring from each other. The Death Dollz transported into the scene and Rosemary issued a warning to the makeshift team. A tag match is now set for next week’s show.

Elsewhere, Knockouts World Champion Mickie James interrupted Bully Ray’s segment to give him a taste of his own medicine. She ordered him to get out of IMPACT, but it only made him angrier. James slapped him, but he countered by body-slamming her and pulling her hair. The Good Hands were in the process of setting up a table when Tommy Dreamer ran out to make the save. Santino Marella announced that James and Dreamer will take on The Good Hands next week with Bully banned from ringside.

Bully popped up again later when he confronted Masha Slamovich backstage. He appeared to be flirtatious, but Slamovich responded in Russian and walked off.

Also set for next week is the debut of Steph De Lander, formerly known as Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT. De Lander will take on Jordynne Grace.
