Jaguars tight end Evan Engram, right guard Brandon Scherff and return specialist/receiver Jamal Agnew were all recently named as part of the NFL Players Association's inaugural All-Pro team list.

While only two players made the Pro Bowl this year as replacements — quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Agnew — the team has another list they can point to in the future for recognition of their individual accomplishments.

While voting for lists is typically a combination of writers, players, coaches and fans, the players took the lists into their own hands.

The NFLPA asked players across the league to select those that had the most impact this season. The players were asked to vote for the best player at their own position or positions they lined up against.

For example, a receiver would vote for his peers at receiver along with a cornerback they lined up against.

While Scherff, Engram and Agnew did not earn the top spots at their respective positions, each made the top five and are the only Jaguars players that made the list.

Right guard rank: 3

Scherff joined the team during the 2022 offseason as an unrestricted free agent. He immediately was inserted into the team's starting right guard position and played in all 19 games — including the postseason — with the team this year.

Jacksonville paid Scherff $49.5 million over three years and he responded with one of the better seasons Jacksonville has seen from a guard.

Last season, Lawrence was sacked just 28 times, tied for the second-fewest allowed in a single season for Jacksonville. The Jaguars completed 394 passes last season, the most by the team in a single year.

Right guard ranking by players:

  1. Zach Martin (Cowboys)
  2. Chris Lindstrom (Falcons)
  3. Scherff
  4. (tie) Wyatt Teller (Browns), Trey Smith (Chiefs)

Evan Engram (tight end)

Tight end rank: 5

Engram joined the fray of top-end tight ends this year under Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson's helm.

He set career highs in both receptions (73) and yards (766), while he caught four touchdowns in 2022.

Engram set a franchise record for receptions and yards for a tight end as well. He is an impending free agent and will likely be one of the players the Jaguars make it a priority to retain.

His 26-yard average on kickoffs was the second-highest in the AFC. He had two kick returns of at least 50 yards in the regular season.
