GROESBECK, Texas (FOX 44) – UPDATE: Groesbeck Mayor Matthew Dawley said on Friday morning that electric service has been restored at the water plant.
Dawley said the current supply is stable, and the system is in the process of refilling the ground storage units.
This comes after City Administrator Chris Henson said Thursday that the facility was without power. The City asked customers to curb usage and to assist in conservation efforts until power was restored.
The City said once power was restored, the facility would run at max capacity to replenish what was used.
