We love to love Minnie here at Tokyo Disneyland, and what better way to celebrate the main mouse herself than with a few special treats and drinks? During the Minnie Besties Bash promotion at Tokyo Disneyland, which includes a special cavalcade as well, we got nice and toasty with the Hot Strawberry Drink, now it’s time to cool back down with the Sparkling Strawberry & Elderflower Drink from Refreshment Corner!

Sparkling Strawberry & Elderflower Drink – ¥600 ($4.66)

Much like the hot drink, the cold version also comes with this adorable paper sleeve, elongated for iced drinks. It’s a shame these aren’t printed on the cup itself, but the massive paper handle makes it worth that trade-off.

Along with the image of Minnie blowing a kiss onto the paper handle, which Cast Members again strongly emphasized we not hold the cup by, the Minnie Besties Bash logo at the center.

This was surprisingly sweet, with a bit of a tangy kick to it as well. The tang of the strawberry was well-preserved in this drink, with elderflower only compounding the sweet side. Some little strawberry bits at the bottom help add texture to the drink, and are much more welcome than the trend of adding boba pearls for a couple of years which has finally subsided.

All in all, while much sweeter than the hot drink, this will certainly be more welcome come March when things warm up again. When it’s below freezing out, maybe opt for a different beverage.
