Freehold Township defeats Freehold Borough - Boys basketball recap

Jayden Holmes-Cotter posted a 28-point, 14-rebound double-double to lead Freehold Township as it defeatd Freehold Borough 79-57 in the Jack Kuhnert Memorial Game at Freehold Township High School in Freehold.

Freehold Township (15-3) took the win in the game for the third year in a row, also extending its win streak to five games.

Malachi Harris also had 21 points, five assists and four steals with Nick Cardone posting 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. James McCarthy added six points and eight rebounds with Jordan Conover tallying six points and five rebounds.

Christian DiGiso led the way for Freehold Borough (6-13) with 15 points with Brian Tassey posting 13 points, five rebounds and three assists and Sam Cranwell scoring 13 points as well.
