Snoop Dogg places blame on Lakers for high blood pressure

Snoop Dogg has maybe never been more relatable than on Tuesday night.

Following an overtime win for the Los Angeles Lakers over the New York Knicks, the rap and pop culture icon posted to Instagram, blaming the team’s performance for sparking his high blood pressure and nerves.

It was the Lakers’ second forced OT game in less than a week — the previous ending in a loss to No. 1 in the East, the Boston Celtics 125-121. This game landed in their favor 129-123, breaking a two-game losing streak and LeBron James posted up a triple-double.

In the video, Snoop Dogg appears to finally be relaxing, celebrating the win while voicing his woes with the team.

“You know what that smile means…the Lakers win! Yes, we find a way,” he said with a smile.

He followed with a more serious tone saying, “God damn y’all got my nerves and my blood pressure high. God damn it, figure it out and start winning every night god damn it. I’m too old for this s–t!”

Snoop Dogg will have to regulate that blood pressure for a while longer, as the Lakers currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference with a 24-28 record. They will be in Indiana to play the Pacers on Thursday night.

The celebrity was one to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show last year among Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem. Recently, he is known for his promoting various products, starting a kids music YouTube channel.
