The Cavaliers received two first-place votes in the predicted ACC Coastal standings for the 2023 baseball season
The Atlantic Coast Conference released the results of its coaches poll for the 2023 college baseball season and Virginia was voted to finish second in the ACC Coastal division, trailing only Miami. UVA received 75 total points and got two first-place votes to win the Coastal.
Louisville and Wake Forest each received six first-place votes as the co-favorites to win the overall 2023 ACC Baseball Championship.

Virginia is ranked in the preseason top 25 of each of the six major college baseball polls. The Cavaliers are ranked No. 20 in the USA TODAY Coaches poll and are ranked No. 19 by D1Baseball, Perfect Game, Baseball America, and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. UVA is ranked the preseason No. 16 team in the country by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
The 2023 Virginia baseball season begins on the weekend of February 17-19 with the Hughes Bros. Challenge in Wilmington, North Carolina with games against Navy, UNC-Wilmington, and Ohio. The UVA home opener with be against Longwood on Tuesday, February 21st at Disharoon Park.
