CINCINNATI — Former UC tight end Leonard Taylor had a great week of practice heading into today's East-West Shrine Bowl. Taylor made the All-Practice Team on the East side.

The long-time UC player was a standout on the field and off it.

"More than just football players," The Shrine Bowl wrote. "These hard-working all-stars were selected based on NFL feedback about their play on the field, player interviews, and how professional they were across the week of practice. Congrats to our 2023 #ShrineBowl All-EAST Practice Team!"

Taylor is still unlikely to get drafted this April. He sits 396th overall on the consensus big board, but he's done himself a big favor toward eventually getting a shot at the NFL.

Taylor could still sign with a team as an undrafted free agent—impressions like this don't hurt that cause.

Fans can catch the Shrine Bowl at 8:30 p.m. ET on NFL Network. The game is available via fuboTV—start your free trial here.
