PERRY HALL, MD—Weis Markets on Thursday presented a $65,000 donation to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
The funds were generated through customer round-up donations at checkout in December and a corporate contribution.
Children’s Cancer Foundation is an independent nonprofit committed to funding locally based researchers, programs, and facilities in Maryland, D.C., and Northern Virginia.
CCF is one of several beneficiaries of Weis Markets’ in-store round-up campaign for regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer foundations throughout the company’s seven-state market area.
The check was presented on Thursday at the Weis Markets located at 9400 Scott Moore Way in Perry Hall.
