The Grant County Museum, aka Historic Adobe Museum, has recently been gifted numerous objects from the Bud and Betty Warner Trust. Betty and Leroy "Bud" were longtime residents of Ulysses and Grant County.

Originally the items were loaned to the museum and have been in the museum collection for many years. The glass case and the candy scale in the general store, the large glass chandelier in the foyer of the hotel, as well as the wicker doll buggy in the children's bedroom are just a few of the pieces that were placed on loan to the museum.

The Warner's daughters, Rita Gee and Judy Dieker; and their daughter-in-law, Ann Warner, recently gifted the items to the museum making them a permanent part of the museum's collection.

The museum staff offered their thanks.

"Thank you Rita, Judy and Ann, for your generous gift that will enhance the museum and showcase more of our early heritage.
