The Nike Air Cross Trainer 3 Low Dons A “Shattered Backboard” Reminiscent Colorway

Following its return back in 2020, the Nike Air Cross Trainer 3 Low has gone on to release numerous inline colorways as well as a collaborative duo with none other than Supreme New York. The silhouette continues to keep up the momentum in 2023, unveiling a “Shattered Backboard” reminiscent colorway via official images.

First introduced at the turn of the ’90s, the Nike Air Cross Trainer 3 Low — which draws inspiration from the Air Trainer SC — spent as much time on the hardwood as it did the turf. And with its latest offering, the classic effectively riffs on a revered basketball icon, borrowing the much-beloved “Shattered Backboard” colorway. As such, the shoe is helmed by a vibrant orange, which lays across the midsole, lower heel, branding, and perforated leather inserts. The rest of the construction, from the smooth leather overlays to the tongue and Swoosh, is instead clad in neutrals, alternating between white and black with a bit more preference to the former shade.

Enjoy a closer look at this Air Trainer 3 Low right here. A firm release date has not yet surfaced, but it’s likely pairs will be made available soon by way of Nike.com and select retailers.

In other news, Vanessa Bryant recently unveiled the Nike Kobe 6 Protro BHM.
