1 woman shoots another during physical fight in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night in Atlanta that injured a woman.

At around 11:50 p.m., Atlanta police responded to reports of a shooting at 144 Moreland Avenue.

They located a woman with a gunshot wound to her arm.

She was alert and conscious.

According to police, she was shot by another woman during a physical fight.

Investigators are working to learn the reasons why the two were fighting.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of her wound.
