SUPER BOWL 2023: KELCE BROTHERS FACE OFF FOR WORLD TITLE, AN NFL FIRST

“As We all Know Travis and Jason Kelce will go head to head on Superbowl Sunday!!!” the petition on Change.org reads. “This is a Petition to the NFL to allow Mrs Kelce to do the Honorary Coin Toss!!! What a great way to show the Super Proud mama some Amazing Appreciation and Love while giving her a once in a lifetime opportunity!!”

Brothers Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs and Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles are set to make Super Bowl history when they become the first siblings to face off on the field in the NFL’s biggest game.

“It’s going to be an amazing feeling playing against him,” Travis Kelce said about his brother following the Chiefs AFC Championship win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

“I respect everyone over there in the Eagles organization. You won’t see me talk too much trash because of how much I love my brother, but it’s going to be an emotional game, for sure.”

Eagles center Jason Kelce had already helped the Eagles defeat the San Francisco 49ers and admitted he wanted little brother Travis and the Chiefs to win.

However, after the final whistle, Jason Kelce gave the press a simple message.

“That’s it for the rest of the year,” he said. “I am done being a Chiefs fan.”

Donna Kelce was asked in a Wednesday interview how she will react when she sees her boys take the field on Feb. 12.

“I’m a true fan of football. This is going to be so awesome,” she said on the Today show, wearing a jersey supporting both of her sons. “I’ll just be so elated. Probably some tears, and it’ll just be a very, very emotional moment.”

“They’ve already got the first win under their belts, so this is just going to be pure joy. We’re going to really enjoy this, have a great time. Obviously, there’s going to be somebody that’s going to go home heartbroken. They won’t have the bragging rights at the Thanksgiving table, but this is going to be an awesome event and I’m really looking forward to it.”

The Super Bowl is on Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m. EST.
