Mutual aid: Warrensville Heights
Police in Warrensville Heights requested the help of a K-9 officer shortly before 2 a.m. Jan. 22. They were searching for a suspect who had fled on foot from a stolen vehicle.
Chagrin Falls police and a K-9 officer assisted in the hunt, but the suspect was not found.
Traffic stop: West Orange Street
An officer saw a vehicle commit a moving violation at 12:32 p.m. Jan. 18 at the West Street intersection.
The Chagrin Falls driver, 37, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and given a date to appear in Bedford Municipal Court. The officer gave her a warning for the traffic violation.
Mutual aid: Pineriver Drive
Bentleyville police asked Chagrin Falls police for help at 4:33 a.m. Jan. 21 during a traffic stop at Solon Road.
Officers suspected the driver of operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bentleyville police arrested the driver while Chagrin Falls officers assisted with the towing of the driver’s vehicle.
Assistance: Solon Road
Police and EMS responded to a call at 7:33 p.m. Jan. 25 in which a juvenile had overdosed on prescription pills. The juvenile was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Traffic stop: Miles Road
Police stopped a Cleveland Heights driver at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 for an equipment violation.
The driver, 23, was found to have a suspended license. The driver was cited and assigned a date at Bedford Municipal Court for the suspended license. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver.
