Local church hosts multi-day prayer circle in memory of Tyre Nichols

Brooklyn residents joined in a prayer circle in Tyre Nichols' memory as he was laid to rest in Memphis on Wednesday.
Dozens came out to celebrate Nichols’ 29 years of life while also calling for justice to be served and hate to stop. 
“This could’ve been my son,” said Vice President of Operations for the New York State Chaplain Task Force Kim Osorio. “My heart aches… I’m praying to the community at large here in NYC and all over.” 
The prayer circle was held both in-person and via Zoom. It started on Tuesday morning. 
News 12 is told that over 1,000 people joined from across the country in memory of Nichols.
