The new Indianola location of the Many Hands Thrift Market will open this spring.

The store will include secondhand clothes, accessories, home décor pieces, kitchenware, toys, and more. The store will also offer specialty items like fair trade and Haitian-made products.

Many Hands CEO Tim Brand said in a statement:

“Indianola has been on our hearts since 2013 when we first evaluated different communities for potential stores. It shouldn’t surprise anyone this door opened, as this is a place where people care about their neighbor, both near and far. We are honored to be invited into this community.”

Many Hands, formerly Many Hands for Haiti, is an organization based out of Pella to raise funds to assist Haiti including providing better education, agriculture, medicine, and more. This will be the fifth location in Iowa to be opened, and the store will work with local nonprofits and churches, including Lighthouse Community Church.
The store will be located at 1801 West 2nd Avenue next to Dollar General.
