The African American Museum of Bucks County is making steady progress at Boone Farm in Middletown Township.

One of Bucks County’s most popular museums has begun necessary renovations to their new and historic home base.

The African American Museum of Bucks County, now located at the Boone Farm estate at 827 Langhorne-Newtown Road in Langhorne, is now undergoing renovations to the new location.

The museum, a nonprofit organization, has shared the important history of African Americans in the Bucks County area for years.

Their goal is to honor “the legacy of the African American experience, inspiring pride in our heritage, educating about the diverse journey of our people, sharing stories that depict our shared ancestry, thus enriching the lives of Bucks County families,” according to their website.

With a new location in a piece of Bucks County history, the museum will continue to tell an important part of Bucks County’s story that will give locals and visitors a glimpse into the area’s unique history.
