An investigation is underway after a high school student had to be transported to the hospital following a possible overdose, according to Seminole County deputies. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said a student at Lake Mary High School was selling brownies Wednesday. A fellow student who bought a brownie had a reaction after ingesting it and was taken to the hospital, according to the arrest report.Deputies spoke with other students, who identified the 17-year-old girl selling the brownies on campus. A test conducted on a brownie indicated that there was marijuana in it. Deputies said a pill bottle with marijuana was also found inside of the 17-year-old's backpack. The girl claimed to not know why it was in her backpack, according to the arrest report. She was taken to the Seminole County Juvenile Assessment Center on charges of selling marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said they are still investigating what exactly the student who was taken to the hospital ingested.
