A Grand Junction woman, who killed man in Red Feather Lakes in 2016 will spend three decades behind bars. Cynthia Wilkinson, 58, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The Coloradoan reports Wilkinson admitted to poisoning Derek Brock so she could take ownership of his Red Feather Lakes property and vehicles. Police said she kept his body in a car she parked in southern Colorado for months before asking someone to help her dismember and dispose of it.
