[Update: Photos and Video] Fully Involved Structure Fire on Main Street in Fortuna
According to scanner traffic, the Playroom a structure across from the Playroom in Fortuna is on fire.
The structure fire was reported just before 5 p.m. on February 1. The reporting party stated that the structure was fully involved, and windows were breaking due to the flames that were visible from outside the building.
The first unit on scene requested a full response.
Update 5:09 p.m.: Fire personnel are attempting to locate the known owner of a car parked near the structure to have them move the vehicle.

Update 5:20 p.m.: Redheaded Blackbelt contributor, Lauren Johnson said that the structure fire is “two doors down from Body Works”.

Note: Although scanner traffic indicated that the reporting party stated the structure on fire is the Playroom, that is unconfirmed at this time. (It has since been confirmed that the Playroom was not damaged in today’s fire. The structure was on the north side of Main Street, across from the Playroom.)

The fire is next door to the Playroom, but most likely, the bar will incur a lot of damage as well. The store has been identified on the scanner as Something Old Something Noveau… they sell video games and other memorabilia. I’ve bought a few used games there for my son before.

I think you’re right. Scanner reports can be unreliable and obviously, the address given wasn’t correct. I’m glad it’s not the Playroom… I’ve enjoyed a few glasses of beer there and look forward to having a few more.

It’s next to “blades” the barber shop. Across the street from the bar.

The fire was not on that side of street if businesses you named. It was directly across street.
The bar is across the street so is the trade store it’s something else. Maybe the bakery or hair place
