Will Smith has given a major update on Bad Boys 4.
The actor has confirmed in an announcement video alongside his franchise co-star Martin Lawrence that the latest sequel is officially happening. Will took to TikTok on Tuesday to share a clip himself as he drove to his co-star's home.
"Yo, I’ve got an announcement. Y’all better stop scrolling," he said in the clip. "I wish I was you, not knowing what I’m about to show me."

The actor then arrived at Lawrence’s door, where the two stars declared that a fourth movie is finally on the way.
"It’s about that time!" Lawrence yelled.
Smith then added: "Bad boys for life, baby." Bad boys, indeed.
Bad Boys 4 will again be directed by the filmmaking duo of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The duo took over from Michael Bay, who directed the first two installments.
There's no doubting that the franchise has been a massive success for the actors. The original Bad Boys film earned $141m (£114m) worldwide in 1995, while the 2003 sequel Bad Boys II took $273m (£222m).
The third film, Bad Boys For Life, came out in 2020 and went on to outperform the previous two entries combined.

The announcement comes as a somewhat surprise comeback moment for Smith, who stepped away from the limelight in the wake of global backlash following his infamous slap incident at the 2022 Oscars.
It's surely good news for fans who last heard in May 2022 that development of the fourth movie had stalled after Sony Chairman Tom Rothman gave an update.
"There weren’t any brakes to pump because the car wasn’t moving. That was a very unfortunate thing that happened, and I don’t think it’s really my place to comment, except to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years, and I know him to be a good person," he told Deadline.
"That was an example of a very good person having a very bad moment, in front of the world. I believe his apology and regret is genuine, and I believe in forgiveness and redemption."
