The Upper Adams School District has announced classes will open on time Thursday, and all school related activities will take place following a bomb threat.
The district released students from class early on Wednesday as a precautionary measure. In a letter from the superintendent, the district said it received an anonymous bomb threat on a document.
Chief Craig Hartley with the Biglerville Police Department said it was a note that was found in the high school by a staff member
Officials said the Biglerville Police Department, State Police, and multiple other agencies searched all of the buildings and no bombs were detected.
Police are investigating the incident. The police chief said no arrests have been made.
