The Good Fight may have come to an end last year, but the Good Wife-verse is set to continue with a new spin-off.
It has been confirmed that CBS has ordered a pilot focusing on Carrie Preston's character Elsbeth Tascioni, simply named Elsbeth.
The attorney character first appeared in The Good Wife, and popped up a few times in spin-off The Good Fight.

The new series will see Elsbeth corner expert criminals alongside the NYPD, honing in on her singular point of view to make unique observations.
Original Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King will oversee the pilot, with the show aiming to premiere in the 2023-24 broadcast season.
It comes a few months after the producers addressed the possibility of another spin-off set in the show universe, especially after The Good Fight ended with Christine Baranski's Diane Lockhart and Sarah Steele's Marissa Gold setting up an all-female law firm.

Michelle told TVLine that the all-female firm was "not meant as a tease or a trial balloon", adding: "It really was this idea of, ‘OK, how is Diane going to continue her fight? How does she not give up, in spite of it all?'"
Robert said: "We have been dangling this all-female firm like a true carrot [for several seasons], so it felt interesting to grab it."

Baranski revealed last year that she was shocked when she learned The Good Fight was ending, recalling to TVLine: "I was stunned. My heart dropped.
"I tried to be sanguine and understand the reasoning for it, but it was a loss of so many things: the consistency of the work, the marvellous group of people that constitute the show, the marvellous writing.
"I don't think I ever took for granted just how lucky I was to be on such a quality show. I started enjoying the work more than ever in my final few seasons."
Elsbeth will air on CBS in the US. The Good Fight aired on Paramount+ in the US.
