Kelenic was pinch-hit for Monday due to some minor quad tightness, but his skipper doesn't seem worried at all that it's something that could linger. The Mariners are off Tuesday, and while it's possible Kelenic is held out for a few days as a precaution, he should be fine come Opening Day. The outfielder is sporting a robust .410/.439/.872 batting line with four homers this spring.

Anderson had a breakout season in 2023, and while those results aren't likely repeatable he does have a chance to provide fantasy relevancy this summer if he's a semblance of a pitcher he was with the Dodgers in 2022.

It's something that Hiura is trying to reincorporate on the fly as he struggles to find a groove in Cactus League play. Through his first 35 plate appearances this spring, the 26-year-old has batted just .156/.229/.219 with zero home runs and 15 strikeouts. He is out of minor-league options, so a tough decision could be coming soon as the Brewers sort out their Opening Day roster.

Hudson was optioned to Triple-A Memphis by the Cardinals on Tuesday. Hudson had allowed six earned runs on 17 hits and four walks through 8.2 innings this spring in Grapefruit League play, which works out to a 6.23 ERA and 2.42 WHIP. The 28-year-old right-hander posted a 3.14 ERA across his first 249.2 major-league innings between 2018-2021, but the underlying metrics have always been poor and his stock continues to drastically tumble. He'll presumably work out of the rotation with Memphis.

With Drew Waters (oblique) likely out to begin the season, Eaton should have a chance to establish himself, likely as the Royals' primary left fielder. The 26-year-old also has some experience in the infield, so he could be a utility option later in the campaign if he doesn't maintain a starting role. His primarily appeal in fantasy is his speed -- he had 11 stolen bases in 44 major-league games as a rookie last season.

Markkanen missed a game on March 5 with the back issue, and while he played in the next five games, it appears it's still giving him some trouble. He'll test how he's feeling at Monday's shootaround, but if he's not able to give it a go, that would open up minutes for Simone Fontecchio and Rudy Gay. Ochai Agbaji and Talen Horton-Tucker would also stand to see a bump in usage sans Markkanen.
