The Oregon State Women's basketball team was 7 points away from returning back to Corvallis with two wins, one of them being against the third ranked team in the NCAA.
But the Beavers fell short to both Cal and Stanford, putting them at 3-7 in the PAC-12.
Instead of hanging their heads about the losses, the Beavers are focused on getting back on track as they return home to face another top 10 opponent in Utah on Friday.
Head coach Scott Rueck said, as much as losing sucks, he's proud of the way his team has chosen to respond.
"It takes a lot of courage to do it, and so you know because of that, I'll tell them that I'm proud of them for getting back up and fighting like crazy once again. It's the right thing to do though, it's what we expect to do, and for that reason I expect us to be right back in it on Friday night, as if we were undefeated."
The Beavers and Utes will go head-to-head on Friday night at 6 pm at Gill Coliseum.
