Scattered light snow showers will continue through sunset. While little to no additional accumulation is expected in valleys at this point, the higher terrain and mountain passes will see up to a few inches of fresh snow.
Overnight Wednesday, clouds will partially clear out of western Montana and patchy freezing fog can be expected for most valley locations. The same can be expected Friday morning with the stable conditions in place. Highs will top off mainly in the 20s and 30s.
Our next weather maker will bring another round of light snow Friday and Saturday. Lookout, Lolo, and Marias could see 2 to 4 inches of snow. Snow levels look to fluctuate between 2500 and 4000 feet, meaning lower valleys may mix with light rain both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
